Air New Zealand
That’s How We Fly

Not your average plane ride.

A Kiwi meets an Aussie on a plane. So far so normal. But what if the Aussie’s Isla Fisher? And the Kiwi’s a little girl named Kelly—who has no clue who she’s sitting next to?

That’s the cheeky premise at the core of this campaign, spotlighting the uniquely Kiwi care only Air New Zealand can deliver.

The 60” cinema spot in Australia played up Isla’s famous single status, ending with a sly hint at a trans-Tasman hookup with Kelly’s dad—earning global PR buzz and extra sparkle.

Shorter cuts leaned into Air New Zealand’s perks (free Wi-Fi, anyone?), while bold OOH showed off the airline’s unmistakably lovable service.

After a quiet stretch, this campaign landed Air New Zealand back in Aussie hearts and minds—proof? A trivia night in Sydney’s Newtown asking, “Which Aussie star’s in the new Air New Zealand ad?”

We’ll call that a win.
